Our Grant Program

Lawrence Lights, our signature holiday light show, launched in 2021 as a way to expand Sertoma’s reach and deepen our investment in Douglas County. Since its debut, the event has quickly become a beloved holiday tradition and one of the community’s most impactful nonprofit fundraisers. In just four years, Lawrence Lights has given back more than $104,000 to local organizations. While continuing to support our flagship Communication Camp, last year’s contributions also benefited nonprofits focused on health care, food access, and educational support. 

Applications for the 2025 SERTOMA/Lawrence Lights Grant open July 11, 2025 and are due by September 12, with recipients announced on October 10, 2025. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations based in Douglas County, Kansas. Apply below.
